Reece is the Managing Director of Hawkes Groups Ltd, his responsibilities include the executive control of a number of engineering projects, with ultimate accountability for the delivery of the contract to the Client. This incorporates liaising with the Client and the Client's representatives and design team. Also to ensure the efficient running of these divisions, making sure that Hawkes continues to achieve the high standards for which they are recognised throughout the industry.
Group Financial Director
Akrofi is Group Chief Financial Officer for Hawkes Group and brings over 20 years’ experience. Akrofi has overall responsibility for the financial management of the Hawkes Group, overseeing the company’s strategic direction and its Procurement, HR and IT departments. His key responsibilities include facilitating and ensuring budgetary control and developing the continuous improvement of financial reporting and performance. Akrofi is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He is passionate about ensuring high standards of financial control are maintained and leads his team in improving business performance at a strategic and operational level.
Group Commercial Manager
Ian has overall responsibility for the estimating function in the UK, leading the development of tenders from enquiry through to contract award and has overseen a continuing catalogue of contract wins for all regions. He is responsible for leading the surveying department, negotiating contract terms and conditions, providing contractual advice and cost control. ‘The company has grown and developed its capabilities to deliver larger and more complex engineering projects. Our team’s problem solving capability plays a large part in this, not only in our ability to win jobs, but also in ensuring we operate sustainably and profitably’.
Civil Engineering Operations Manager
Matt looks after the day to day operation and running of the company which include Managing quality assurance programmes, planning and controlling change, Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency, Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost, Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout, Company Health & Safety as well as coordinating the transport and buying.
Julie Carswell has been working with Hawkes Group since incorporation as accounts manager. She is a dedicated member of the team and is always trying to improve our service. Julie is very experienced in all areas of VAT / Payroll and dealing with HMRC. She prides herself on being able to give a service our clients can rely on.
Office Administrator / Buyer
Jade joined the Hawkes Group team in February 2013 as an Office Admin assistant to support the busy office team with a wide variety of activities including the smooth running of the office, diary management for senior members of the team and organisation of meetings.
Her potential was soon recognised by senior management and now she has been promoted to Buyer for the company handling additional tasks such as making all purchases on company’s behalf.
She is very confident and a vital member of the team, a great asset for Hawkes Group.
